Your First Visit to Our Prescott Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

When you call our office, we will be glad to help find a convenient time for you to be able to get in and find out what chiropractic can do for you. When you first arrive at our office, Kathy, my assistant will meet you and help with any remaining paperwork. Please bring any insurance cards that you have, this will help us inform you of what your insurance may do for you in our office. Many of our patients use their insurance to help with some of the fees in our office.

When you are ready, I will listen to your health history and cover the problem that brings you in to our office. When we have a thorough understanding of your concerns, we will begin a chiropractic exam of you complaints and your spinal health. This should take about 10 minutes and will address your problem and if chiropractic is an option in your case. If we find that you have a problem that chiropractic can help and you wish to continue, we may perform a spinal scan of the muscles and nerves to better understand how your body is working, or we may take an X-ray of your problem area to see if a spinal problem is more deeply rooted in your case. This should take about 15 minutes and will point us in the direction of what is happening in your case. I will discuss some do's and don'ts that will help you get your body ready to change for the better. I will then need some time to review your exam findings and recommend what form of care would best fit your issues. Kathy will assist you in finding a time for a report of your findings and treatment recommendations. It will be important for you to bring a spouse or a family member to the report so they can assist you in the decisions you have to make and support you in your health improvements.

Dr. Scott Asks some important questions of interest to Prescott residents - Chiropractor Prescott Dr. Scott Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Would you rather feel good or be healthy?
Ask most people in Prescott and they want to feel good. Careful! Would you take medicine that makes you feel good, rather than vomit to expel improperly prepared food? Every chiropractic practice member knows that you can't measure your health by how you feel. True health is when your body works as it should.
